Taking place in venues across the city, the Durban International Film Festival (DIFF) attracts cutting-edge African and South African films and documentaries. Focusing on the theme of Transit Tales in 2017 – with an eye on the refugee crisis unfolding in parts of the world – the festival offers a platform for actors and directors who’ve already made the cut, as well as a fantastic opportunity for up-and-coming hopefuls.

Craft ales and artisanal brews will be showcased and sipped at Woodstock Winter Beer Festival. Held at The Palms Decor & Lifestyle Centre, the event celebrates the best of local microbreweries like Atlantic Storm and Drifter Brewing Company. There’ll be live music and delicious food to accompany the excellent beers.
