  • Jeremy Flowerday

    Hotel Manager Jeremy Flowerday

I started my Hospitality career washing pots and pans in an Italian Restaurant where the Chef Proprietor took the time to show me how to cook Octopus. I enjoy cooking still today and my wife, Christine, reckons I may possibly be the best chef ever! I am a very keen golfer with a handicap of 12 and have an interest in South African wines and Anglo Boer War history.

My role at the Twelve Apostles Hotel is to ensure that your home away from home exceeds your expectations and that the memories you take back with you will forever remain special to you.

The Twelve Apostles team are all special and share equally in an overriding believe that there is in fact no request to large and no detail too small for anybody.

I look forward to welcoming you to the 12Apostles Hotel and Spa soon.

  • Debra Algie

    Rooms Division Manager Debra Algie

I joined the newly reopened Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa in June 2003 as Rooms Division Manager.

My work experience includes The Mount Nelson, The Michelangelo and The Palace of the Lost City at Sun City.  Prior to joining the Twelve Apostles, I held the position of Reservations Manager for the Conservation Corporation Africa, overseeing the reservations, revenue management and communications to 30 luxury Game Lodges throughout Africa.

I have been with the hotel since the re-opening and have watched it go from strength to strength and am very excited to be involved with a hotel of this caliber that is constantly evolving and remaining one step ahead of the rest.
  • Brenda James

Sales and Marketing Manager Brenda James

I joined the hospitality industry in London and spent a number of years promoting South Africa and Sun International’s Mauritian and Southern African Hotels in the UK and Europe. The appeal of warmer climes and wide open blue skies won and I returned to South Africa to live, where I took up a local Sales and Marketing position. I joined The Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa in 2005 and have been excited by the growth in the hotel’s exposure and occupancies. As Sales and Marketing Manager it is my job to ensure the hotel is always positioned as the best and to create and investigate every opportunity.

I started at the Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa in June 2003 as a Student from the Cape Town Hotel School.  After 8 months I was transferred to The Rubens at the Palace Hotel in London, a 4-star Red Carnation Hotel, as a receptionist. In the two years that I was in London, I was promoted to Night Manager of The Rubens Hotel and of Hotel 41. As all South Africans know, the Travelbug bites for a while, but you always long for home.  In early 2006 I returned to sunny Cape Town as the Concierge Team Leader at The Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa, taking care of guest demands from tours of Cape Town to requests for Bengal Tigers.
