Event: The Celebrate Life Festival at the River Club Observatory
Date: October 9th - 10th
Relaxation is likely to be the priority for the vast majority of those who are planning a luxury break in Cape Town this year and one upcoming event may be able to help holidaymakers return home completely refreshed.
Taking place at the River Club on October 9th and 10th, the Celebrate Life festival promises to give attendees the opportunity to "restore your spirit and uplift your soul".
Natural and organic is the focus of this year's event, with organisers bringing together speakers, workshops, musical performances and demonstrations for visitors to watch and take part in.
A number of stalls from local sellers will also be set up around the venue, meaning those who find a new favourite cooking ingredient or fragrance, for example, can stock in anticipation of their return to the UK.
South African acoustic guitarist Tony Cox will be performing at the festival, while those who attend on the Saturday can enjoy a day of film screenings.
The Celebrate Life festival could be the perfect remedy for those who are also using their stay at luxury Cape Town hotel the Twelve Apostles to escape from the stresses of everyday life.
Its Hibernate to Rejuvenate package offers everything guests could want to unwind, including a 40-minute head and shoulder massage, a five-course dinner at the hotel's Azure restaurant, use of its Sanctuary Spa plunge pools and access to the 16-seat cinema and extensive DVD library, complete with hot chocolate and marshmallows to enjoy during the film.
