Cape Town Book Fair at Victoria Foundry Prestwich Street

This is truly a worldwide trend, as signified by the Cape Town Book Fair, which has been running in the South African city since 2006 and boasts attendees from all over Africa.

Guests staying at the luxury Cape Town hotel the Twelve Apostles late next month will be able to sample some of the finest literature from the continent and around the world at the event, which runs from July 30th to August 2nd.

Visitors will get a chance to attend launches, get their favourite books signed by the author or purchase rare editions at the fair, which will take place at the Cape Town International Convention Centre.

More than 15 publishers from around Africa are being invited to attend the exhibition, which was visited by over 32,000 adults in 2009.
