Michael Stevenson Summer Exhibition on in November

Woodstock, one of Cape Town's most vibrant areas just 11 minutes away from the The Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa, is set to host the next edition of the Michael Stevenson Summer Exhibition.

The gallery, which has been relocated to the new venue, will stage the 14th annual summer exhibition featuring ten projects between November 26th 2009 and January 16th 2010.

Established gallery artists and first-timers including Berni Searle, Guy Tillim, Willem Boshoff, Jane Alexander, Tracy Payne, Retha Erasmus, Dineo Bopape and Tom Cullberg will be showing work.

Also making a return following his successful 'Hottentots Holland: Flora Capensis' series on last year's show is Andrew Putter, who will showcase a new series entitled 'African Hospitality'.

Making his first appearance at the gallery will be Sabelo Mlangeni, whose work is a series of photographs dubbed 'Men Only', which was taken around a Johannesburg hostel built in 1961 to house migrant mineworkers.

Guests of the luxury Cape Town hotel can treat themselves to the Hibernate to Rejuvenate package, which includes a two-night stay and full South African breakfast among others luxuries.
