Walk of Art Festival at The Paddocks, Company's Garden

At the Walk of Art Festival, nature and art come together to create one of Cape Town's most vibrant events, which celebrates the spirit of this wonderful part of the world and its people.

Fine art, sculpture, photography and music from local artists are given a stage on which to shine, with visitors able to enjoy some fabulous works at the glorious Paddocks in Company's Garden Park.

Buskers will line the walkways, filling the air with sweet sounds, while there will be plenty of delicious food on offer to ensure attendees do not get hungry while enjoying the spectacle.

Special art workshops for kids will ensure their young minds are entertained throughout the day, while there will also be pony rides for them in what will be a wonderful day out for one and all.

When the sun goes down, mum, dad and the kids can swap the wonderful surroundings of De Waal Park for the equally beautiful ones of the luxury Cape Town hotel the 12 Apostles.

At the end of the short 15 minute journey, the family can get some rest and prepare to enjoy the delights of the Kids Fun in the Sun package the following day.

Families are treated to a luxurious one bedroom suite facing the sea, a full English breakfast, free in-room movies, tickets to the Aquarium at the Waterfront, a full guide to the local area and a basket of toys for the young ones to play with.

When mum and dad want to spend a little time alone, they can call on a babysitter, who will look after the children for three hours, giving parents peace of mind and the chance to enjoy each other's company.
