Sip a tipple at the Stellenbosch Wine Festival

Fans of a tipple or two can learn more about their favourite wine when on a visit to South Africa.

Those staying at the Twelve Apostles hotel can go to the Stellenbosch Wine Festival where over 500 wines will be on display for your pleasure.

Attendees can meet winemakers and learn more about the industry, how that tipple is produced and what food best matches it.

Food fans will also not be disappointed, as live cookery demonstrations will be taking place, with some being contests between chefs.

People driving home after the event will find all manner of things to entertain them, with art and craft stalls on offer, historic tours and other items being available to buy and take home as presents.

Children will not be bored either, as an entertainment area will be dedicated to them.

The Stellenbosch Wine Festival will run from July 30th to August 2nd, with a connoisseurs' evening taking place on the opening night.
