The Moment Event, Still Bay, South Africa

Event: The Moment Event

Those visiting South Africa later this month can take part in the annual adventure race at Still Bay.

Moment Event sees participants take on a 12 km coastal run, a 15 km sea paddles and a 65 km mountain biking track, with competitors battling it out over two days.

The paddling and biking stages are set to take part on the first day, followed by the cycling on day two.

Five options are available to those who want to compete in the event, as it can be undertaken as a solo attempt of all the stages or as a team.

Those who excel in one area can also opt for the single race, which sees the individual taking part in either the cycling, paddling or running.

Children can also get involved in their own mini-event, where they quad bike for 20 minutes, then pelt a family member with a paint gun.

The kids day is held on the December 29th and also includes a picture of each child to take home.

Families wanting a luxury hotel for their stay can book into the Twelve Apostles and opt for the Kids Fun in the Sun package.
