Event: Rocking the Daisies festival near Cape Town
Date: October 3rd to 5th 2008
One thing about staying at the Twelve Apostles hotel in Cape Town is the flexibility of accommodation options you are afforded.
For example, guests at the luxury Cape Town hotel can take advantage of its For your Personal Preference package, which includes accommodation in a room category of your choice as well as access to your own selection of additional services.
That flexibility is also a hallmark of the Rocking the Daisies festival, about an hour's drive from the hotel on the nearby Cloof Wine Estate. Whether comedy, live music or dancing to DJ sets is your thing, this event is sure to entertain.
One of the main attractions on the musical stage is Eagle Eye Cherry, who is perhaps most famous in the UK for his hit Save Tonight. The comedy stage features a performance from ascendant South African funnyman Brendan Murray.
Classing itself as "the greenest festival around", Rocking the Daisies is also a good opportunity to enjoy the natural beauty of Cape Town with as little carbon guilt as possible.
