Event: Mozart's Don Giovanni presented by Cape Town Opera

Opera lovers will soon have an added reason to head to the South African city of Cape Town as one of the best theatre groups in the country is to perform Mozart's Don Giovanni.
The classic piece of work is widely considered to be among the very best operas ever written and the Cape Town Opera has assembled a fine cast and orchestra.
Demand for tickets to see the show that begins a week-long run at the end of August has been strong and anyone planning to stay at the luxury Cape Town hotel The Twelve Apostles and watch the opera is well advised to book as soon as they can.
Don Giovanni is based on the legendary European womaniser Don Juan and the opera has now been popular with audiences around the world for several centuries.
Other highlights of the programme include performances of Gershwin's Porgy and Bess and Verdi's Rigoletto.
