Bridal Showcase

More than just a collection of wedding dresses, the fourth annual Bridal Showcase taking place not far from luxury Cape Town hotel the Twelve Apostles this summer is a matrimonial extravaganza, covering all the bases of what you need for your ideal wedding day.

The Kleinplasie Showgrounds are hosting the Bridal Showcase, Tourism Cape Town reports, and the show will feature everything from wedding venues to honeymoon destinations, dresses, centrepieces, flowers and wine.

Guests visiting from nearby luxury Cape Town hotel the Twelve Apostles can also look forward to demonstrations and fashion shows as well as competitions offering great prizes.

The show opens on Saturday August 9th 2008 with the Woman's Day Designer Fashion show followed by a competition for student designer of the year 2008.

In the afternoon a Top Designer Gala Fashion Show will take place, featuring established labels such as Elbeth Gillis and Kobus Dippenaar en Charlene Sauerman. Tickets for this event need to be booked in advance.

Other fun competitions for visitors attending from nearby luxury Cape Town hotel the Twelve Apostles to enter into include the Mother in Law of the Year competition and Bride and Groom of the Year 2008. Winners of this prize will receive a second honeymoon.
