This spring, holidaymakers can enjoy the true basics of hearty cuisine at a mouth watering dining event in Cape Town.

Guests staying at luxury Cape Town hotel the 12 Apostles should venture out to Allesverloren - reported to be the oldest wine farm in the Swartland - where the Riebeek Valley Olive Festival will take place between May 3rd and 4th 2008.

Enjoy the farm's famous Shiraz produce alongside what it describes as "true Swartland hospitality".

In addition to fine traditional dining, travellers will also be able to enjoy music and conversation at the annual Riebeek Valley Olive Festival at the Allesverloren Estate.

An opera evening will be held on the Saturday evening with music provided by all-female vocal group, Da Capo Quartet. Guests will also be able to enjoy a three course Mediterranean dinner.

The following day, holidaymakers can enjoy traditional delicacies at the Boland lunch to the "laid back" sounds of live instrumental music.
