As part of our Heritage of Food campaign, Executive Head Chef, Roberto de Carvalho has created another culinary first for the Hotel by paying tribute to his Portuguese heritage each Wednesday evening.

This traditional Portuguese feast will be presented in the 24-hour Café and in true Portuguese style, guests will dine at one long table that showcase the finest Portuguese dishes using only authentic recipes.

A Night at the Movies

We invite all lovers of the motion pictures, to join us for a unique Dinner and Movie delight. Indulge with your partner or a group of friends in the stunning newly refurbished Azure Restaurant with our specially created movie menu, followed by an intimate viewing of a film at the hotel's private cinema.  Choose from our varied selection of great classics, comedy, adventure, drama and foreign films and sink into plush red leather seats with state-of-the-art flat screen Dolby surround sound, and a lavish assortment of goodies, including popcorn, ice cream, hot chocolate, milkshakes and candy!

Two flights for the price of one

Enjoy a jet set style lunch experience at Azure Restaurant. Guests can now order two ‘flights’ with the popular ‘Azure Select’ menu, which includes a private helicopter flight from the V&A Waterfront to The Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa and whilst enjoying lunch, award winning Sommelier Luvo Ntezo takes guests on a ‘Flight of Wines’ to complement their meal. The ‘Flight of Wines’ has been created to offer guests an opportunity to ‘taste’ three unique wines with their meal therefore offering a comprehensive wine tasting educational at the same time. After lunch guests return to the V&A Waterfront with a private vehicle.

Lazy Sunday Serenades

Unwind with cocktails, live music and spectacular ocean-fresh seafood for lunch in the Azure Restaurant with panoramic Atlantic Ocean views. Roberto’s most recent à la Carte menu is the Signature Seafood Collection, which includes West Coast crayfish and prawn cocktail, Knysna oysters, grilled seafood platter and seafood espetada. Our renowned and internationally celebrated Sommelier, Luvo can suggest the perfect wine to accompany this decadent feast.
