Its that time of the year to show your appreciation and treat your father to our buffet lunch created by our executive chef, Roberto de Carvalho.   Served in the stunning surroundings of Azure Restaurant, or the Atlantic Terrace Marquee with its breathtaking ocean views, it’s your chance to give him the pat on the back he deserves.

Roberto is the kind of chef who likes to offer choice. His imaginative buffet menu includes dishes such as smoked salmon and peppadew quiche and baked ham with apple sauce.

And, because no one tucks into a dessert as enthusiastically as a Dad, Roberto will be preparing lemon meringue tarts, vanilla crème brûlée and many other dishes that set the mood for a gloriously carefree afternoon.

Supreme Sunday Serenade

Lazy Sundays begin and end at The Twelve Apostles.  Here you can unwind with cocktails, easy conversation, live music from Jenie Oliver and spectacular ocean fresh seafood, faultless service and the panoramic Atlantic views from our Azure Restaurant.

Our chef Roberto de Carvalho's most recent a la carte menu is his Signature Seafood Collection.  This easygoing Sunday lunchtime favourite includes West-coast crayfish and prawn cocktail, freshly shucked Knysna oysters, grilled seafood platter and seafood espetada.  Our sommelier, Luvo, has been working hard too.  He can suggest a perfect wine pairing for each item on the menu.

If you prefer a more traditional Sunday lunch, our buffet menu is just what you need.  Typical dishes include roasted butternut, feta and plum tomato salad; Oriental prawn spring rolls with sweet chilli sauce; roasted lamb with mint jus; and oven-roasted sirloin with rosemary gravy.

Sunday wouldn't be Sunday without a glorious dessert.  Choose from traditional milk tart or our decadent chocolate and caramel gateau, to name a few.

Crayfish, Prawns and Oysters, oh my!
