Easter Sunday Family Feast - 04 April 2010

Oscar Wilde had a point when he declared “I can resist everything, except temptation”. - let our executive chef, Roberto de Carvalho, prepare an appealing lunch including smoked ostrich carpaccio salad; salmon cakes with chive aioli dipping sauce; roast sirloin of beef and Cape Malay chicken and prawn curry - so delicious that diners of all ages will enjoy healthy and nutritious courses, and have plenty of time for the family to share a special moment together before indulging in some heavenly treats. Desserts to die for will be aplenty. What’s more, in a final bid to cure every child of their chocolate cravings we’ll give them each their own Lindt Gold Bunny!

Two flights for the price of one

Enjoy a jet set style lunch experience at Azure restaurant. Guests can now order two ‘flights’ with the popular ‘Azure Select’ menu, which includes a private helicopter flight from the V&A Waterfront to The Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa and whilst enjoying lunch, award winning Sommelier Luvo Ntezo takes guests on a ‘Flight of Wines’ to complement their meal. The ‘Flight of Wines’ has been created to offer guests an opportunity to ‘taste’ three unique wines with their meal therefore offering a comprehensive wine tasting educational at the same time. After lunch guests return to the V&A Waterfront with a private vehicle.

Our afternoon Tea by the Sea is a local institution. This is the time to catch up with friends against a backdrop of ocean views and soft music.

Our afternoon teas are generous by any standards. Among the treats we serve are cream scones with strawberry jam, decadent lemon meringue tartlets, cupcakes, mini koeksisters, and finger sandwiches – two of each, all beautifully arranged on a magnificent three-tier cake stand. There's also a fine selection of fragrant teas and coffees.
