A Head Chef is required for the Acorn Inn, set in the pretty Dorset village of Evershot, it has established itself a first class reputation for fine cuisine, superior accommodation and superb service.  The Acorn Inn was a 16th century coaching inn, it has ten en-suite bedrooms, a 1 AA Rosette restaurant and two bars which offer award winning real ales, as well as a comprehensive wine list.

The ideal candidate will have previous Sous Chef experience to 1 AA rosette standard, and be looking for a Head chef position.  In this role you will have full responsibility for the Kitchen, managing and developing the team, managing food costs, rota's etc.  As Head chef you will be required to work hours that suit the needs of the business. You will have full support from the General Manager.

This could be a great opportunity for an experienced chef looking for their first management position.  

Staff accommodation is available.

Evershot is the quintessential English village, with a church, store, bakery and a magnificent deer park. The centre of the village has remained largely unchanged. The coast is just a 20 minute drive away. Just under three hours drive from London, West Dorset is steeped in history and has many areas of outstanding natural beauty, including mile upon mile of English Heritage coastline.
