The Old Government House Hotel has 63 bedrooms, 2 Restaurants and 5 function rooms and is situated in the heart of St Peter Port, a bustling vibrant part of the island, with spectacular views of the surrounding Channel Islands and France.

As Receptionist, you will have an opportunity to work with a highly knowledgeable team and embark on fantastic career opportunities. This is a challenging and exciting role where as a Receptionist, you are expected to work efficiently at all times to give our hotel guest ultimate guest experience.

The Ideal candidate for the Receptionist position should have:
• A sales driven attitude, striving to meet departmental targets
• An excellent command of written and spoken English, combined with excellent communication skills
• Be enthusiastic in delivering excellent customer service
• Be able to work under pressure and have strong organisational skills
• Display a polite and professional attitude to internal and external guests
Previous high standard experience as a Receptionist in a hotel front desk team is desirable.
